COURSE SYLLABUS

 Synopsis:


      Beginner Eeprom is a course designed as a supplement to transponder chip key programming. The key concepts that will be covered are
           *What is an Eeprom and how does it work
           *Step by step demonstrations of in circuit reading and writing
           *Overview of the most common problems and how to troubleshoot them


Aims:


      The aim of Beginner Eeprom is to add to a foundation of key programming by adding in circuit reading and writing. This course is the third in a series of courses that together will provide a comprehensive understanding of the most cutting edge key programming available.


Objective:


      *To present a brief history of Eeprom
      *To understand what Eeprom is
      *To cover the common locations Eeproms are found
      *To explain how Eeproms work
      *Brief introduction to the Orange 5 and Zed Full
      *Demonstrate Eeprom reading and writing and common programming problems for the following vehicle families
           Lexus/Toyota
           Chevrolet/Pontiac/GMC
           BMW (including EWS and CAS modules)
           VW


Materials:


All needed course materials will be supplied by Instructor

Course Structure:


8 hours of classroom lectures and demonstrations
10 minute break in the morning and afternoon
1 hour lunch

Assessment:


An open book multiple choice testing for understanding of course material

*Completion of our Beginner and Advanced Transponder courses or equivalent experience is highly recommended
